Helen L. Latture (Mama Helen) was born Aug. 27, 1920 and passed away June 4, 2016 at the age of 95. She was of Christian faith and full of passion and life. She retired from the Arkansas State Highway Department after 24 years. She had a warm heart for animals and took in many strays. In her spare time, you often would find Helen working in her yard or watching football. She was full of love and often showed this by cooking for her family. Helen was preceded in death by her daughter, Norma Chloe; Parents, Thomas H. and Alma Julia Langley; and Brother, Jay Langley. She is survived by her children: Charles (Becky) of Bigelow, James (Judy) of McRae, Butch (Jeannie) of Savannah, Ga., Tony (Debbie) of Bentonville, Katherine (Jim) of Sherwood, and Michael (Konnie) of Cabot; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Corrine Swindle of Searcy.
