Joe Howard Burnett

JOE HOWARD BURNETT, age 78, of North Little Rock, Ark., passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Baptist Medical Center of Little Rock, Ark. He was born on Feb. 22, 1938 in Solgohachia, Ark.; he was the son of John Burnett and Letha Boyle Burnett. Joe was a manager at DHS in Little Rock for 35 years and served twenty-plus years in the National Guard and Army Reserves. He was a member of Arkansas Gun and Cartridge Collectors Club, NRA, and concealed carry firearms instructor and enjoyed being a Firearms enthusiast and doting on his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include wife of 33 years, Janice Burnett; Sons: Keith Burnett of Vilonia, Scott Pinney and wife, Danielle of North Little Rock, Ted Pinney and wife, Christie of Benton; Grandchildren: Anna, Sam, Tyler, and Tatum Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood, Ark. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood, Ark.
