Evelyn Sammons

Evelyn M. Sammons, of Little Rock, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016. She was born in Caruthersville, Missouri, to the late Rollin and Myrtle Crawford on December 17, 1922. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon E. Sammons Jr. and son, Vernon E. Sammons III. She is survived by her children, Marilyn Sammons, Steve Sammons, Linda Carpenter, and Gary Sammons; grandchildren, Nathan Sammons, Paul Sammons, Brian Sammons, and Kelley Carpenter; and great-granddaughter, Etta Sage Sammons. Graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Friday, June 10 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
