Paula Vetra Turner

Paula Vetra Turner, 50, died Thursday, June 9, 2016. She was born May 19, 1966 in Newport a daughter of Nettie Jean (Bottom) Turner and the late Virgil Turner. Paula was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and putting together cookbooks using old family recipes and sharing them with others. Survivors: mother, Nettie Jean Turner; sister, Nelda West (Robert); brother, Dan Turner (Judy); nephews, Derrick and Jon; niece, RaLynn; great-nephews and nieces, Murray, Oliver, Kaly, Bryn and Aubrey as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Turner and her grandparents, Fred and Irene Bottom and Oliver and Ruthie Turner. Visitation: Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob. Services: Monday, June 13, 2016, 1 p.m., Grace Baptist Church in Augusta. Interment: Augusta Memorial Park.
