Stella McClure

Stella McClure, 102 years old, left this earth for a home in heaven on June 10, 2016 to meet her Savior Jesus Christ and loved ones, Tom and Lizzie (Nelson) Brown (parents), Edward McClure (husband), Laverne McNabb (daughter). Stella was born Nov. 3, 1913 in the Kansas Community. Those left with precious memories are children, Barbara Monteith, Shirley Smithpeters and Thomas (Deborah) McClure. Grandchildren, Bobby (Cathy) Monteith, Debbie (George) Blackmon, Chris (Joe) Murphy, Velvet (Pato) Gonzales, Cindy (Dennis) Morrow, Nioka McNabb, Mark (Janice) Smithpeters, Georgia Ann McNabb, Gina (Darin) Robbins, Tishlane McClure, Kami (Roger) Dayan; fifteen great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren with one more to come in July. The family would like to express their appreciation to the caregivers and staff at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation for the love shown. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Gurdon or the Easley Cemetery in care of Mary Francis Ricketts at 1022 Sticky Road, Gurdon, Ark. 71743. Visitation will be Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 2 p.m. til Service time at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church Gurdon. Bro. Mike Taylor and Bro. Randy Murphy will officiate. Interment will follow in Easley Cemetery under the direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon.
