Wayne Dickens, 59, of Owasso, Okla., formerly of Mayflower, Ark. went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 11th. Wayne was born December 26, 1956 in Alameda, Calif. to Betty and Jerrell Dickens. Wayne retired from American Airlines and was currently working for Home Depot. He was a Master Mason of the Green Grove Lodge #107. Wayne was a member of the Mayflower Fire Department from 1981 to 1989 and Vice President of the Owasso Band Patrons. He loved to hunt and fish. Wayne is survived by his wife, June Dickens, sons, B.J. Dickens of Boston Massachusetts and Dalton Dickens of Owasso OK. daughter, Holly Dickens of Owasso, OK. Mother and Father, Betty and Jerrell Dickens of Mayflower, sister, Gail Dickens Erwin and husband Doug of Cabot, three nephews, one niece, and many other beloved family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday June 15th at Mayflower Baptist Church, with Bro. Terry Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Mayflower Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Coker, Wayne Burgess, Daniel Frintz, Michael Frintz, Bryce Gottula, and Tyler Gottula.
