John Nelson Sr., 78, of Jacksonville went into eternal rest with the Lord on June 12, 2016, at home surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by daughters: Shannon Kress and Cynthia Hill. Precious memories left to his lovely wife Tinnie Nelson; children: John (Lavita) Nelson Jr., Pastor Rickey (Patricia) Nelson, and Gregory Hill, siblings: Leon (Doris) Nelson, Clyde (Jackie) Nelson, Ray-Ray Nelson, Flora Nelson, Dorothy (Lesley) Oliver, Erma Clark, Shirley (Gaylorde) Willis, Denesia (Wiley) Bobo.
