Bobbie Sue Hunnicutt

Bobbie Sue Hunnicutt, 83, of Danville, went to be with the Lord Friday, June 10, 2016 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. She was born March 4, 1933 in Carden Bottoms, Arkansas to the late Henry Irvin and Sarah Melissa (Watson) Gillespie. She was a member of the Danville First Baptist Church. She was retired from Farmer's Home Administration. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Leo Hunnicutt; brothers, Billy Ray, Hershel, Hayes, Robert "Rab", Roy, and Eck Gillespie; sisters, Dessie Olene Reed, and Maurine Mitchell. Survivors include her sons, Brad Hunnicutt of Garner, North Carolina, John Hunnicutt of Danville; daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Michael Loudermilk of China Spring, Texas, Beth and Buddy Walters of Ft. Smith; sister, Geneva Pledger of Danville, sisters-in-law, Nancy Gillespie of Belleville, Betty Gillespie of Overland Park, Kansas; Rosetta Hunnicutt of Rogers; grandchildren, Michael Robert Loudermilk, Ryan Deramus, Katherine Loudermilk, Daphne Loudermilk; and many well-loved nephews and nieces. Pallbearers include her nephews, Jimmy Gillespie, James Mitchell, Bill Gillespie, Randy Gillespie, David Gillespie, Frank Gillespie, Darryl Gillespie, Tyler Cahill, Robert Mitchell, Jeff Gillespie, Tony Gillespie, Stacy Gillespie, and Billy Hunnicutt. Honorary pallbearers are Waymon Sides, Raymond George, Joe Hissom, Harry Foster, and Pledger Ball. Funeral service was held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at Danville First Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Sullinger officiating. Interment will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery, Danville. Visitation was held from 10-11 a.m. before the funeral service at the church.
