Marvin Doyle Davis

Marvin Doyle Davis of DeWitt died at the age of 66, Tuesday, June 14, 2016. He was a resident of Crestpark Nursing Home. Doyle was born August 8, 1949 in to DeWitt, Ark. to Paul and Lizzie Davis. Doyle was a lifelong resident of DeWitt. He is preceded in death by one son Dane Davis, one daughter Jalayne Davis, parents Paul and Lizzie Davis, two brothers Eugene and Elvis Davis; and life long friend, Roxie Watkins. He is survived by four children, Timothy Davis (Jane) and Bobby Paul Davis (Libby) both of DeWitt, Deitra Watkins of Collierville, Tenn., and Shane Davis of Pine Bluff; six grandchildren, T.J., Crystal, Maverick, Zack, Tyler, and Michael; four great-grandchildren, Anna, Angel, Logan, and Makenna; five brothers, Wayne Davis (Annie) and Johnny Davis (Sheila) both of DeWitt, Carl Davis (Wilma) of Rose Bud, Ark., Garlen Davis (Janet) of North Little Rock, and Rickey Davis (Christie) of Collierville, Tenn.; six sisters, Gladys Maloy (Bill), Evelyn Fisher (Ervin), Beverly Watson (Bob), LouAnna Jacobs (Mike) all of DeWitt, Dorothy Mannis (Wayne) of Conway, and Betty Watkins (Billy) of Pine Bluff; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, June 17 from 6-8 p.m. at Essex Funeral Home.
