Eula Mae Hendley Evans went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday June 16, 2016. Eula was born on Jan. 1, 1924 in Nashville, Ga., to Willie and Lottie Hendley. She married Wayne Evans on March 27, 1945. They were blessed with two children, Don and Pam. Eula was a lifetime member of Maysville Bible Church, where she taught Sunday school and Vacation Bible School for many years. She was a farmer most of her life, and also loved to paint, garden, and spend time with her family. Her love of the Lord was shown in the kindness and love she shared with all who had the pleasure of meeting her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Evans, her parents, Willie and Lottie Hendley, her brothers, Dempsy Hendley,Willard Hendly,Beuman Hendley and Johnny Hendley. She is survived by her children, Don W. Evans of Maysville, Pamela J. Evans of Colorado, and Jennifer Lay of Gravette, Ark. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael Evans and wife Shelly of Broken Arrow, Okla., Christopher Evans and wife Jaclyn of Centerton, Amanda Brown and husband Hoby of Gentry, Kate Green and husband Derek of Camden, Ark., Jayla Viranda of Kansas City, Kansas, Josh Viranda and wife Lindsey of Colorado. Eula was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren, Braylen Brown, Kinleigh Brown, Macee Green, Lane Green, Connor Tudor, Luke Frye, Delaney Frye, and Cash Frye. Her sisters Doris Griner of Nashville, Ga., Hilda Faulkner of Nashville, Ga., Carolyn and Easton Barber of Hahira, Ga., and Elnita Thomas of Tifton, Ga. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, June 19 at Maysville Bible Church. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday in the church with burial to follow in Maysville Cemetery. Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville.
