Aften Martin

Aften Martin, age 90, of Springdale, Ark., went to be with her Lord on June 18, 2016 in Springdale. She was born June 14, 1926 in Mount Levi, Ark., the daughter of Harrison D. and Nora Sanderson Griffith. She was a homemaker, a woman of prayer and a great witness of Jesus Christ. She was preceded by her husband, Haskel Martin and three sisters: Goldie Elery, Gracie Chronister, and Joy Fanning. Mrs. Martin is survived by one son, Charles Martin and his wife, Joyce of Springdale; one brother, Sidney Griffith of Springdale; two sisters, Merle Cleaver of Colorado and Georgia Royce of Springdale; one grandson, Neal Hepler and his wife, Molly; one granddaughter, Kortney Hepler; one great-grandson, Tyler Hepler; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Brother Dorsey Martin and Brother Rusty Martin officiating.
