Billy Joe Green

Billy Joe Green, 77, of Conway, Ark., passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016. He was born on June 29, 1938 in Mtn. View, Ark. to Horace and Elsie Green. Bill worked for the Mtn. View Telephone Company for 32 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, watching sports, and serving his church. He was a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church in Conway. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Nadine (Duncan) Green, of Conway; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Anita Green, Ozark, Mo.; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Gina Green, Springfield, Mo.: daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Brad Hartley, Conway; sister, Mima Rae Bryant, Van Buren, Ark.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law, J.M. and Maxine Green; and brother-in-law, Emal Bryant. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22, 2016, noon – 2 p.m., at Flatwoods Baptist Church, Mtn. View, with services immediately following at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Flatwoods Cemetery.
