Caesar Edward Massanelli Jr., 78, of Hot Springs Village passed peacefully from this life to be with his Lord and Savior on June 19, 2016. He was born January 21, 1938 in Pine Bluff to the late Caesar and Elena (Magnini) Massanelli. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Delsie, Delia Monk, Ann Tucker, Rosie Glover; brothers, Victor, Sonny, James and Tommy Massanelli; a granddaughter, Brittney Ann Klentz. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Ann Massanelli; his children, Greg (Jenny) Massanelli and Scott Massanelli of Little Rock, Leigh Ann (Glen) Edom of Sheridan, Natalie (Jeff) Lark of Cedar Park, Texas, Stephen Bishop of Temple, Texas; grandchildren, Crystal (Mike) Williams, Trevor Massanelli, Aidan Massanelli, Emilie, Jacob and Hudson Lark and Jacob Edom; sister, Lena Owen of Star City; many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. He graduated Pine Bluff High School in 1956. He served in the Army. He retired from the Cotton Belt Railroad as an engineer after 30+ years where he made many lifelong friends. Caesar was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church where he attended faithfully every week. He loved to fish, work in his garden, golf, read and do puzzles. But most of all he loved his family and the Lord. He had a quick wit, wasn't shy about telling someone the right way to do things, and had a nickname for everyone he knew well. His bright smile, playful teasing and loving devotion will be missed. Service arrangements are pending with the Hot Springs Funeral Home and will be announced shortly.
