Soon Cha Anderson, 71, of Altheimer, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, June 19, 2016, at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock. Born Soon Cha Kim, June 29, 1944, in Seoul South Korea, she was the daughter of the late Ho Nam Kim and Kum Chu Lee Kim. Mrs. Anderson was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, where she met and married James N. (Toby) Anderson. She was a stay at home mother until her children graduated from high school. Later, Mrs. Anderson was a successful business woman in Pine Bluff as the owner and operator of Hi Style in Jefferson Square, for 20 years. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Living Water Baptist Church in Sherwood. She was a great wife, mother, and grandmother, always putting her family first. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Chin Su Kim, and Chong Su Kim, and daughter-in-law, Carolyn Gehring Anderson. She is survived by her husband, James (Toby) Anderson; two sons, Penny Anderson of Altheimer, and Tony Anderson and his wife Cory of Humphrey; a daughter, Gwendolen (Gwen) Robinson and her husband Mark of Monticello; five grandchildren, Mackinley and Miles Anderson of Humphrey, Catherine Anderson of Altheimer, and Hayden and Addison Robinson of Monticello; four brothers, Pil Su Kim and wife of San Diego, Calif., Hyon Su Kim, Yang Su Kim, and Yong Su Kim, all of South Korea, and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016, at the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Sun K. Kim. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Flat Bayou Cemetery in Altheimer.
