Donald Thompson

Donald E. Thompson, 70 of Little Rock was born January 17, 1946 and passed away June 21, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Alice Thompson and a brother John Thompson. He graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1964 and also later from UCA with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. He worked and retired from DHS with 30 plus years of service as an auditor. He was a Master Gardener and a Magician as well as an avid NRA supporter and Razorback fan. He also enjoyed watching television cooking shows, especially Rachel Ray. He was a Certified Public Manager and the former President of the Society of Arkansas Government Managers. He is survived by a sister Joanne Weiss of Mt. Vernon, Mo. and one nephew David Weiss. Other survivors include special friends Judy Parson, Debbie Spangler (Bob) and Janie Owen and her late husband Bob.
