Junior Ledbetter

Junior Ledbetter, 89, of Wesley, Arkansas died June 26, 2016 at Meadowview Heathcare and Rehab at Huntsville, Arkansas surrounded with family and friends. He was a World War Two veteran serving in the United States Army and had retired from Baldwin Piano. He was preceded in death by his wife Norma Sizemore Ledbetter, beloved daughter, Martha Slaughter, four brothers, Leather Ledbetter, George Ledbetter, John Carl Ledbetter and Afton Ledbetter; and three sisters, Mildred Duncan, Virginia Kisor and Imogene Counts. Ohio, what a glorious reunion he has had. Survivors include: one son, Tom Ledbetter of Wesley, Arkansas; one daughter, Lyndie Ramsey of Huntsville, Arkansas; one brother, Ken Ledbetter of Wesley, Arkansas; two sisters, Wanda Boyd of Huntsville, Arkansas and Genieve Guinn of Wesley, Arkansas; four grandsons, Chad Slaughter, Josh Ramsey, Bill Ramsey and Nick Ledbetter; one great-grandson, Dane Ramsey; three great-granddaughters, Abby Slaughter, Macie Ramsey, Molly Ramsey; and many nephews and nieces Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29 at the Drakes Creek Baptist Church with Elder Jim Duncan officiating. Interment will be in the Drakes Creek Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net at Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Chad Slaughter, Josh Ramsey, Bill Ramsey, Nick Ledbetter, Doug Wall, Rusty Kellett and Shelby Sisemore. Honorary pallbearers will be: Mike Kisor, Rick Robinson, Jeremy Duncan, Randy Ledbetter, Rick Ledbetter, Danny Ledbetter, Jerry Counts and Chris Hill. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with the family present.
