Wayne Todd

Wayne Todd, 91, of Heber Springs, passed away June 25, 2016. Wayne was born October 1, 1924 in Miller, Arkansas, son of C.C. and Johnnie Stark Todd. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Lorene Stone Todd, four brothers and one sister. He is survived by sons, Rodney (Janice) Todd of Conway and Jerry (Vivian) Todd of Beaumont, Texas, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Other survivors are a brother, Ochiel Todd of Pearson, sisters Juanita Birdsong of Greers Ferry, and Mary Lou Verser (Bryce) of Conway. Wayne was an active member and deacon of South Side Baptist Church, World War II veteran, and Heber Springs community leader for many years. He retired as Business Manager of the Heber Springs School District. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 28 at Olmstead Funeral Home in Heber Springs with funeral services Wednesday, June 29, at 10 a.m. at Olmstead Chapel.
