Cleophus Bowie Jr.

Cleophus "June" Lee Bowie Jr was born September 18, 1965 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Cleophus Sr. and Helen Bowie. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Jean Bowie. He was a devoted son, brother and uncle. He graduated from Wilber D. Mills Hills High School. Cleophus departed this life on Thursday, June 23, 2016. He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Cleophus L. Bowie, Sr. of little Rock; four sisters, Vickie Thomas-Breedlove and Bonita Rainey (Darryl) of Columbia, S.C.; Patricia Montgomery, of Little Rock, Ark.; and Donna Campbell of Jamaica, New York; two brothers, Robert Willett of Little Rock, and Teddy Bowie, of Flint, Mich.; one aunt, Gladys Coleman of Little Rock, Ark.; two uncles, Arthur Nelson and Harvey Barton both of Little Rock, Ark.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends. Funeral service will be Friday July 1, 2016, 10 a.m. at Premier Funeral Home. Services entrusted to Premier Funeral Home, 1518 S. Battery St., Little Rock, Ark. 72202.
