Ralph Elby Oldham

MSgt. Ralph Elby Oldham, USAF (Ret.) 84, of Jacksonville, passed away on June 27, 2016. He was born on February 4, 1932 in Claredon, Arkansas to the late Thomas E. and Eugenia (Bunker) Oldham. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Yurba M. Oldham, one son; Michael W. Oldham, one brother; Talmadge Oldham, and one sister; Joyce Shawler. MSgt. Oldham was a United States Air Force veteran serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Ralph worked for the United States Post Office from January 1973 until January 1990, and was a member of Jacinto Masonic Lodge #216. Survivors include one son; David A. Oldham, and wife, Janel, four siblings; Margaret Simpson, Linda Bell, Bobbie Burton, Doyle Oldham, five grandchildren; Lindsay Kaufman, Paul Oldham, Scott Oldham, Sabrina Oldham and Connor Oldham, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Chapel Oaks Mausoleum with Bro. James Hedden officiating.
