Norma Jean Justus

Norma Jean Justus was born September 12, 1943 to William Crock Mize and Irma Ruth (Mitchell) Mize. For the first half of life she resided in Powhatan and Walnut Ridge, and the last 27 years of life she resided in West Little Rock. She worked as a teacher and as an education advocate for the Arkansas Education Association. She considered family or moral support to be the strongest component for any individual's success, and her dedication to youth and the under privileged was her strongest virtue. Norma is preceded in death by her mother and father, five siblings, William, Nona, and Dent Mize, and Glenda and Wanda Glenn. She is survived by one brother, Bobbie Mize; two children, Terri Mullen and Billy Justus; four grandchildren, Brandi Davis, Charla Cusson, Nathan Justus, and Lane Justus; four great-grandchildren, Gage Eades, River Davis, Blakley Williams, and Ashley Cusson. If we could have one wish, her friends and family would give her a final hug and tell her how much she will be missed. Funeral Service will be Thursday June 30, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the Bryan Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. Online Registry www.bryanfh.com.
