Alice Elizabeth Mobbs

Alice Elizabeth Mobbs, 88, departed this life March 4, 2016. She was born on Oct. 17, 1927 in Clarendon, Ark. to the late Carrie Venable and James Venable. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Jack Emmett Mobbs. Alice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Her love for her children knew no bounds. She volunteered for the March of Dimes and was an avid hunter and fisher. Alice always had time to teach a grandchild to throw out a line or to clean a fish. Her smile, her welcome, her hugs and kisses will be greatly missed by her family. Alice leaves behind a large and well-loved family. Her three daughters; Jackie Snowden (Sam), Alice Criner (Robert), Jennifer Kierre (Patrick), and son Jack Mobbs Jr. Her grandchildren; Thad Snowden, Matthew Criner, Carrie Robinson, Jimmy Young, Jason Young, Max Young II, Amy White, Jacklyn Mobbs, and 15 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her devoted siblings; Martha Donham, James Venable, Mary Ann Vaughn, Stevie Joncas, Sissy Erwin. Services will be held at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, Ark.
