Ruth Lorene Alexander

Ruth Lorene Alexander, 84, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died March 5, 2016. She was born October 13, 1931, in Pineville, Missouri, the youngest of 9 children to Paul Albert and Gertrude (Fullerton) Lewis. She married Virgil G. Alexander in Anderson, Missouri on August 19, 1949. Ruth was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary, Coterie, Beta Club, the Women's Christian Church Auxiliary, President and member of Jaycettes and numerous bridge clubs. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Virgil, and her siblings. Ruth was survived by one son, Mark Alexander and wife Lynetta of Siloam Springs, Ark.; two daughters, Cheryl Conklin and husband Robert of Tulsa, Okla.; Susan Case and husband Jimmy of Northport, Ala.; 10 grandchildren, John Huskins, Brett Huskins, Kam Rackleff, Tara Rackleff, Madison Alexander, Scout Alexander, Josh Case, Jessica Spowart, Jared Case and Jake Case and numerous great-grandchildren. Ruth loved going to razorback football and basketball games. She loved to fish. She loved to travel and loved going to Branson and Las Vegas to the shows. But most importantly she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2016, at the First Christian Church in Siloam Springs, Ark. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Ark. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Ark.
