Richard Bender

Richard Bender, 76, died Feb. 24, 2016; son of the late Donald James Bender and Grace Atelka Root Bender. Former owner of the Hopewell General Store in Rose Bud, Ark. Survivors: wife, Mary Lou Bender; children: Staci Baxter, Curt Bender, Scott Bender; three brothers, sister; five grandchildren, step-grandchild; three step-great-grandchildren. Celebration of Life Service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the family home. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. www.olmstead.cc.
