Christopher Ralph "Chris" Thompson

Christopher Ralph "Chris" Thompson, age 44, of Lake Village passed away Friday, March 11, 2016. Chris was born November 15, 1971 in Greenville, Miss. He is the son of Charles Thompson and Shirley F. Neblett Pierini. He was a coastguard Certified Welder, Fish Farm Manager, and avid hunter. He was a former member of Snyder Hunting Club and Linwood Point/Panther Forrest Hunting Club. Chris is survived by one son, Christopher Chandler Thompson of Portland; father, Chuck Thompson and wife Liz, of Hamburg, mother, Shirley Pierini and husband Ned, of Lake Village, brother, Charles Thompson and wife Cynthia, of Hamburg; a sister, Stephanie Thompson and wife Punky, of Kilbourne, La., two nephews, two nieces, and many friends. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 16 at Bishop-King Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 17 at Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Village. Brother Marty Tackett will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Innocents Cemetery on Stuart Island. Arrangements by Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
