Benjamin Reilly Chase

Benjamin Reilly Chase died Monday, March 14, 2016 at his home in Sherwood. He was 36. Born in Bangor, Maine on January 5, 1980, he was the son of Glen Chase and Christina-Marie Colavizza. He attended school in Sabattus, Maine before he and his family moved to Arkansas in 1993. He graduated from Conway High School in 1998. After working for several auto collision repair shops, he opened his own shop, After 5 Customs; specializing in bodywork on new and late model vehicles. He spent many hours there, both doing custom work and helping friends with repairs, project vehicles, and special paint jobs. Growing up Ben was an avid skateboarder who at one time had several professional sponsorships and retained his passion for the sport his entire life. His musical tastes were varied, ranging from the Muppets and New Age to the Wu Tang Clan. He loved going to car shows and boating on Greers Ferry Lake. He also was an advocate for abused dogs, helping rescue and care for many animals over the years. Ben was also very fond of his body art. He is survived by his parents, Glen, of Greenbrier and his mother, Christina-Marie of Melbourne, Australia; his wife, Robin, and their three children, Marlee, Reilly, and Oliver, all of Conway; his fiance', Rebecca Dominguez, her daughter, Tru, and nephew, Dominique, all of Sherwood; his brother Matthew and his wife, Yavonda, and their daughter, Alaina, all of North Little Rock; and many close friends. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2016 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. The family will hold a private Memorial Service.
