Joel Prentice Cockrill

Joel Prentice Cockrill, 92, of Marion, Ark., retired postmaster and farmer, died March 16. He was a veteran of World War II. A lifelong Methodist and a 1949 graduate of Arkansas State University. He was an active member of the VFW, and held local and national offices. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Julia Coleman Cockrill. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. The Marion United Methodist on Friday, March 18, 2016 with burial following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas.
