Paula Gail Smithers

Paula Gail Smithers, 59, of Benton, passed away March 17, 2016. She was born June 3, 1956 in Little Rock to the late Jackie and Louise Smith. Paula was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Benton. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Charles Michael Smithers and daughter, Susan Renee Parish. Paula is survived by her husband, Charles Smithers, daughter, Alison Denise Lawton of Fort Worth, Texas, grandchildren, Paxton Pace, Hunter Helton, Pacer Shelton, Emma Lawton and Charlie Shelton. Graveside Services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fowler Cemetery with Bro. Buddy Horne officiating. Paula enjoyed gardening and her family, especially her five grandchildren.
