Betty Louise Bryant Flowers, 85, of Center Ridge, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016. She was born May 13, 1930 in Center Ridge, Arkansas, a daughter of Eli Harvey Bryant and Mary Jane Epperson Bryant. She was the widow of Carl Jay Flowers, retired from Levi Straus, and of the Christian faith. She is survived by her son, Ricky Bryant (Norma) of Center Ridge; daughter, Kathy Carr of Center Ridge; brother, Jimmy F. Bryant (Pam) of Morrilton; three sisters, Faye McCoy of Charter Oak, Missouri, Muriel Dixon of Morrilton, and Nina Scroggins of Center Ridge; grandchildren, Richie Bryant (Traci) and Donnie Epperson, both of Center Ridge; great-grandchildren, Lynnlee Bryant and Hanna Bryant, both of Center Ridge, Shaelyn Epperson of Morrilton, and Trey Epperson of Center Ridge; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Marvelle Noakes, Bertie Flowers, Thomasa Lajoy Oliger, and Mary Reta Sutton; and three brothers, Afton Bryant, Doy Bryant, and Hubert Bryant. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 25, at the Harris Chapel with Bro. Doyle Glass officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
