Edgar Thomas Graddy

Edgar Thomas Graddy, age 88, of Fayetteville, died Monday, March 21, 2016 in Fayetteville. He was born December 12, 1927 in Leasburg, Missouri, to Carl Edgar and Mary Elizabeth Farrar Graddy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wives, Lydia Louise Reed Graddy and Bobby June Jones Graddy. He was a retired machinist for North American/Boeing. He was a fur trapper and volunteer fireman for the Melfay, Oklahoma fire department. He is survived by three sons, Thomas Edward Graddy of Atlanta, Georgia, Billy Wayne Graddy of Winslow, Arkansas and Gary Earl Graddy and his wife Denise of Sperry, Oklahoma; a daughter, Sharon Kay Cook and her husband Melvin Wesley Cook of Fayetteville, Arkansas; a sister, Ilene Dixon of Big Cabin, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2016 at Moore's Chapel. Burial will take place privately at Parks Cemetery in Winslow under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
