Fuad Akel

Fuad Akel, age 77, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2016. Born in Ramallah, Palestine on November 26, 1938, he was the son of Ishak Akel and Jamileh Akel. Fuad Akel was married and devoted to his wife; Karimah Akel for 44 years. He was a devout Orthodox Christian and a lifelong, self-employed entrepreneur. He is preceded in death to his parents; Ishak and Jamileh Akel, his sisters; Badia Akel, Mesadeh Bateh, Nelli Kassees and Naimeh Alley and his brothers; Mitri Akel, Essa Akel and Nabih Akel. Fuad Akel is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Annuniciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1100 Napa Valley Dr., Little Rock, Arkansas, with interment to follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock.
