Ella "Mannie" Baldridge Forsythe

Ella "Mannie" Baldridge Forsythe, 76, of Heber Springs, died Thursday, March 24, 2016 at her home on Cove Creek Road and is now with her late beloved husband, Will "Pops" Forsythe. She was born Oct. 4, 1939 to the late Lee and Elvessie Baldridge of Argillite, Ky. She is also preceded in death by her siblings: Clyde Baldridge, Ruby Meredith, Eugene Melvin, Ray Kiser, Tom Glass, and Stella Queen. She is survived by her children: Vicki (husband, Russ) Allbritton of Jacksonville, Jerry Ivey of Quitman, Carla Ivey of Heber Springs and their father, Billy Joe Ivey of Jacksonville; her step-children, Lorena Roberts and Will Forsythe, Jr. of Cabot; her grandchildren: Shana (husband, Dwayne) Wilson of Conway, Spencer (wife, Whitney) Ivey of Russellville, Jennifer (husband, Reece) Owens of Ward, Travis (wife, Audra) Ivey of Ward, Matthew Roberts of Fayetteville; adopted grandchildren, Lisa Leal and Barb Rowell; her great-grandchildren that she adored so much and who gave her the greatest joy: Cayle, Alaya, Kenan, Rueben, and Ellie Wilson, Shepherd Ivey, Adalee Ivey and soon-to-be Thomas Owens. She is also survived by her siblings: Roy Kiser, Will Baldridge, Kenneth (wife, Barbara) Baldridge, Harold Baldridge of Greenup, Ky., Betty (husband, Glen) Ross of Michigan, and Jenny Fortune of Brandon, Miss.; in addition to all of her other dear sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends not named here that she loved so very much. Mannie was a member of Howard Baptist Church of Quitman. She worked for Family Disco Pharmacy of Heber Springs for 20 years before retiring. She's been an active member of the Heber Springs community for 35 years. The family would like to express a special thanks to the Arkansas Department of Health Hospice for their special care of our mother and grandmother.
