Alan Stewart

Alan Stewart, age 78, of Springdale, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 in Fayetteville. He was born May 10, 1937 in London, England, the son of Robert and Sarah Kelly Stewart. Preceded in death by a brother, Robert Stewart and a sister, Sandra Stewart. Survivors include his wife, Katherine of the home; two, daughters, Pamela Newman of Goshen, Ark. and Jill Stewart of Conway, Ark.; brother, Peter Stewart of Orange, Calif.; four grandchildren. Alan was a passionate engineer with two patents and life~long love of mathematics. After a long career in engineering, he retired and continued teaching math and electronics at NTI in Springdale. Visitation will be from 5-7, Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. A celebration of life will be from 2-4 p.m., April 9, 2016 at the Stewart Home.
