Gertrude Nahlen Siebenmorgen

Gertrude Nahlen Siebenmorgen, 89, of Conway went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 29, 2016. She was born April, 22, 1926 in Conway to the late Joe Nahlen and Christina Rumker Nahlen. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Justin Siebenmorgen; son, David Siebenmorgen; five brothers, Joe Nahlen, Andrew Nahlen, Clarence Nahlen, Tony Nahlen, and Infant Paul Nahlen; and one sister, Theresa Nahlen. Gertrude was retired from Kimberly Clark. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and baking. She was a loving mother and grandmother and you never left her house hungry. She is survived by three sons, Paul Siebenmorgen (Marie), Ralph Siebenmorgen (Elizabeth), and Richard Siebenmorgen (Paula) all of Conway; one daughter, Ann Siebenmorgen of Conway; two sisters, Anna Marie Gunderman of Conway and Sister Josita Nahlen O.S.B of Ft. Smith; one brother, T.J. Nahlen (Mary Ann) of Conway; seven grandchildren, Logan Siebenmorgen, Joshua Hinkson, Jennifer Siebenmorgen, Ellen Siebenmorgen, Amy Siebenmorgen, Mary Rose Siebenmorgen, and Daniel Siebenmorgen; daughter–in-law, Brenda Siebenmorgen; and many nieces and nephews. Rosary will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway with visitation to follow. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Church with Father Robert Cigainero as Celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum. Grandchildren will serve as Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearer. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the St. Joseph Endowment Fund, P.O. Box 72, Conway, Ark. 72033.
