Louise "Penny" Franklin

Louise "Penny" Franklin, 70, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away April 30, 2016 at her home. She was born May 30, 1945 at Marshall, Ark., the daughter of Erton Lee and Tina Ladd Womack. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Terry Shappell; two brothers, Bobby Lee Womack and Louis Womack. Survivors include her husband, Robbie Franklin; two sons, Gary Shappell and wife, Karen of Rogers, Joshua Scates and wife, Orva of Springfield, Mo.; one daughter, Rhonda Hulse of Sonora; two stepsons, Heath Franklin and wife, Vicky of Hogeye and Tracy Franklin and wife, Angela of Greenland; one stepdaughter, Sheri Nay and husband, Bill of West Fork; four brothers: Clinton Womack of Colcord, Okla., Allen Womack of Huntsville, Harold Ray Womack and Floyd Womack, both of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Alta Cagle of Farmington and Deloris Faye Olson of Springdale; 23 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016-4 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove with Joe Hall officiating. Burial will be in Sharp Cemetery.
