Elizabeth Jane Williams

Elizabeth "Libby" Jane Caperton Williams, 87, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 in League City, Texas. She grew up in Monticello, where she finished her early education and completed high school. She graduated from Arkansas State Teachers College in Conway, now UCA. She was a teacher in the Dollarway and Pine Bluff school districts for over 25 years. Elizabeth was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pine Bluff and Delta Kappa Gamma Honorary Teacher's Society. She was also a member of the local chapter of the Twentieth Century Club. She is survived by two daughters; Jimmibeth Hankins and husband, Chris, of Katy, Texas and Wallis Anne Baud and husband, Richard, of League City, Texas, six grandchildren; Taylor Hankins, Lauren Hankins Weber, Brooke Hankins, William Baud, Rachel Baud, and Blane Baud, and two great-grandchildren; Judah and Calgary Hankins. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James E. "Jimmy " Williams, her mother, Elizabeth Caperton Rice, and her grandparents, Martha Jane and William Wallace Caperton. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2016 at the chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the funeral home.
