Michael L. Bretz

Michael L. Bretz, 50, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully May 1, 2016. He ran his race with endurance right until the very end. We take great comfort in knowing his pain and suffering are over. Michael was a faithful member of the Living Church of God for the last 7 years. He will be remembered as a man of tremendous faith, perseverance and godly character. Michael was truly an inspiration to all who knew him and he will greatly missed. Michael was born November 10, 1965 in Riverside, California, to John Bretz and Judith (Bryan) Parker. He is survived by his parents; wife, Rachel Bretz; sons, Michael John Bretz (Monica), Marcos Bretz, Jacob Bretz; daughters, Adriana Bretz, Hannah Holcomb; brothers, Scott Bretz, Lawrence Parker; sisters, Rhonda Zaragoza, Kathy Parker; grandchildren, Michael Jose Bretz, Max Bretz and numerous nephews, nieces and family members. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Hospice of Central Arkansas. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
