Jewel Gordon Rogers, age 84, of Camden, Ark. died Wednesday, May 4, 2016. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, a retired Master Plumber and member of the Pipefitters Union. He was a veteran having served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, and later served in the Naval Reserve. He loved hunting and fishing and was a founder of the Troy Deer Camp. Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his wife Janive Moseley Rogers, his parents, Clair and Dodie Rogers, his son-in-law, Phil Faulkner, his brothers, John E. Rogers, Charles Rogers, Kenneth Rogers, and Rex Rogers, his sister, Patsy Roberts and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Buein and Lillie Moseley. He is survived by three daughters, Rhonda Reynolds (Jimmy) of Camden, Ark., Julie Angel of Bossier City, La. and Sue Faulkner of Little Rock, Ark., a son, Gordon Rogers (Dana) of Camden, nine grandchildren, Sean Reynolds (Melissa) of Camden, Patrick Reynolds (Kim) of Oxford, Ohio, Jason Angel (fiance' Jaime Davis), Matthew Angel and Alexandra Moss (Dustin) all of Bossier City, La., Christopher Faulkner of Little Rock, Ark., Sarah Burleson (Brooks) of Little Rock, Ark., and Reid Rogers and Abigail Rogers both of Camden, eight great-grandchildren Luke, Thomas, Evelyn and Jewel Reynolds, Addison and Layla Angel, and Lillie and Brayden Moss; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel in Camden with burial at Bluff City Cemetery in Bluff City. Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday until service time. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Arkansas Children's Hospital.
