Mary Rose Masternak, died Sunday, May 1, 2016 at her home in Rogers, Ark. She was born February 17, 1960 in Detroit, Michigan to Victor H. and Bonnie B. Darden Masternak. She received her degree in graphic arts from Oakland University in Farmington Hills, Mich., then worked for a few years with an entertainment magazine. Mary found real happiness in caring for others. She worked for the state of Michigan, where she had the responsibility to get individuals back into the workforce. She would work with them side by side, until they felt comfortable in their new environment. Mary spent many happy hours at the Rogers Wellness Center playing "Pickle Ball", and enjoyed being in the company of family and friends. She treasured her relationships with her family. Her friends and family will lovingly remember her for her love, kindness and generosity. Mary knew no strangers. In her own neighborhood, she was always helping someone. She had an infectious laugh, and a very likeable character. All will miss her very much. She was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth Baker and her father, Victor Masternak. Mary leaves behind her husband, Harry A. Manning; her mother, Bonnie Bolton and husband, Dale of Paragould, Ark; sister, Rhyan A. Candour also of Paragould; brother-in-law, Dennis Baker of Pinckney, MI; two nieces, Ashley J. Rivera and Carleigh Long; one great niece, Natalia; one great nephew, Elias Rivera; and many dear friends. A memorial gathering will be from 12 noon until 3 p.m. Saturday, May 7th, 2016 at Fellowship Bible Church in the Training Center Room 166. She will be laid to rest beside her family at Cardwell Cemetery in Cardwell, Mo. at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cardwell Cemetery in care of Eulus Vaughn, P.O.
