Jimmie Faye Bignar Doughty

Jimmie Faye Bignar Doughty, 79, a resident of Farmington, Ark., went to be with her Lord on May 7, 2016 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born Jan. 22, 1937 in Jena, La., the daughter of William Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Hudnall Bignar. She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, the Rev. Dr. Donald Doughty; two sons, Ralph Doughty and wife, Laurie of Houston, Texas and Jeffrey Doughty and wife, Nita of Plaquemine, La. and one daughter, Reba Holmes of Prairie Grove, Ark.; eight grandchildren: Clint Doughty and wife, Adrien, Nathan Doughty, Trevor Doughty, Martha Broussard and husband, Ryan, Naomi Doll and husband, Justin, Jude Doughty and wife, Emily, Matthew Holmes and wife, Jessica and Luke Holmes and wife, Andrea; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Rev. Joey Bignar and wife, Pat of Jonesboro, La.; one sister, Inez Keene of Jena, La. and a host of nieces, nephews, and family. Funeral service will be held Monday, May 9, 2016-10 a.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Tidwell Landing Cemetery in Jena, La.
