Mavis M. White

Mavis M. White, age 94, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016. She was born September 5, 1921 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Ezra T. Avery and Lula Bivens Avery. She worked at Lola's Restaurant and the Oasis Café. She had a big personality and an enormous heart and was loved by many. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. She is survived by her daughters Ava Roberson (David) of Bryant, Billie Smith (Greg) of Little Rock; son Gary Burris of Bryant; daughter-in-law Neta Avery of Little Rock; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; sister Lorraine Knabe of Bryant and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800 with interment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
