Nelda Jean Thrush

Nelda Jean Thrush, 79, of Cabot, died Tuesday, May 10, 2016. She was born January 31, 1937 in Oak Grove, Louisiana to the late Harold Dosher and Beatrice Trainor Dosher. Nelda enjoyed craft making, and was known for her amazing cooking. She also enjoyed flowers and owned her own floral business. She was raised in the Church of God, and most recently attended Country Chapel in Ward. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Linda Kay Ashcraft; and a niece, Leah Ashcraft. She is survived by her husband, David Cornelius Thrush; her children, David G. Thrush (Inge) of Beebe, Raymond N. Thrush (Darla) of Cabot, Michael Thrush (Lea Ann) of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.,, and Mark Thrush (Rachel Parent) of Cabot; brothers, Roy Dosher and Jerry Dosher, both of Oak Grove, La.; and 10 grandchildren, Matthew Sharp, Andrew Thrush, Makayla Thrush, Hannah Thrush, Samantha Thrush, Jessica Thrush, Beatrice Thrush, Michelle Thrush, David C.R. Thrush, and Esther Thrush. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Grace Fellowship in Cabot, 601 W. Elm. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be Monday, May 16th at 11 a.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Donations may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
