Ernestine Rhodes

Mrs. Ernestine Rhodes, 91, of Hot Springs transitioned from earth to heaven on May 2, 2016. She was born December 1, 1924 in the small community of Mt. Moriah in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to the late Fred and Janie Newburn Hunter. She attended school in Arkadelphia and Hot Springs. Ernestine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two children, nine siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory five children, two sisters, 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Christian Fellowship Church in Hot Springs. Visitation will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 at Eureka Baptist Church in Hot Springs. Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery on Shady Grove Lane in Hot Springs.
