Jennifer A. Russell, 73, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016 at her home. She was born Jan. 3, 1943 in Pratt, Kan., the daughter of Wilson and Mary Katherine "Toady" Ford. She graduated from Siloam Springs High School in 1960. She competed in local rodeos with an Equestrian Drill Team as a barrel racer during her high school years. She was a 1965 graduate from the University of Arkansas with B.S.H.E and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Jennifer worked as a personal banker in Fayetteville for many years before retiring and enjoying her hobbies of birding and traveling, which included mission trips to a Guatemalan orphanage. She was a member of University Baptist Church for many years and most recently Freedom Fellowship in Tontitown. Her father preceded her in death. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 53 years, Carl M. Russell of Fayetteville; two children, Stephanie Pilarz of Riverside, Ill., Jason Russell and wife Sara Russell of Fayetteville; five grandchildren; her sister, Stephanie Brown and husband John E. Brown III of Siloam Springs; her sister-in-law, Karen Burks and husband Roy Burks of Rogers; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Jennifer's life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at Freedom Fellowship, 990 W. Henri de Tonti Blvd. (Hwy 412W) in Tontitown.
