Donald Keith Dooley, age 51, of Aplin, passed away, Sunday, May 15, 2016. He was born September 30, 1964 in Russellville, Ark., a son of Donald Reece Dooley and Jayne Kelley Dooley. He was the drum major and saxophone player at Hall High School, where he graduated in 1982. He was a member of Journey Church in Perryville, Ark., where he was a bass player for the Praise Team. He was the founder of Operation Christmas, a charity to bring toys to the underprivileged. Those who knew him will remember him as being tenderhearted, artistic, talented, passionate, and unique. Keith is survived by his parents; his sister, Kim (Bill) King of Greenbrier; his children, Jessica (Andy) Austin of Perryville; Derik Dooley and Allie Dooley both of Claremore, Okla.; four grandchildren, and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May18, at Journey Church, with Bro. Danny Barker and Cody Bradford officiating.
