Dora May Porritt, 83, of Clinton, Ark., passed from this life on Saturday, May 14, 2016. She was born October 10, 1932 in Boise, Idaho, to Ralph and Mildred (Jary) Porritt. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. She loved cooking, sewing, gardening, traveling cross-country by train including trips to Florida. She also enjoyed visiting and sharing stories to anyone that would listen, and loved her doll collection. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George Eldon McLelland, Jr.; two sons, George McLelland, III., and Tim McLelland; one grandson, Angus Williams; three sisters; and three brothers. She is survived by her three sons, Ken McLelland of Reno, Nev.; Daniel McLelland of Magna, Utah; and Dale McOlnie of Salt Lake City, Utah; four daughters, Susann Strickland of Bee Branch, Ark.; Cindy Kasner of Shirley, Ark.; Linda Phillips of Bakersfield, Calif.; and Marylee Marshall of Eureka, Calif.; 47 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, and nephews and close friends. Pallbearers: Ken McLelland, Kevin Phillips, Chris Phillips, Spencer Strickland, Jacob Weighill, and Kolby Strickland. Honorary Pallbearer: Seabastion Strickland. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel, Clinton, Ark. Funeral Service will be 10 a.m Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Quitman, Ark., with Bishop Jared McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Mountain Cemetery, Bee Branch, Ark. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas.
