Jack Lewis Harreld, 88, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Highlands Health & Rehab. He was born May 1, 1928 in Marion, Ind. to Brice Harreld and Audrey Lillian Pickering Harreld. He was raised and educated in Marion, Ind.. He graduated from Purdue University in Lafayette, Ind.. He married Mary Tavenner on August 6, 1950 in Marion, Ind. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 - 1954 during the Korean Conflict. He lived in Marion until moving to Elkhart, Ind. in 1970. He was self-employed as a building contractor, and later became involved in real estate and appraising. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of Fly-Tiers in Bella Vista, the Masonic Orders, and Bella Vista Community Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Mary Harreld of Bella Vista; and children, Jay Harreld of Cartersville, Ga.; Debra Tavenner Harreld of Albuquerque, N.M., Janet Harreld of Houston, Texas, and Susan Anderson of League City, Texas; one sister, Jane Davis of Surprise, Arizona; and seven grandchildren, Conor, Brice, Hope, Norah, Cole, Kyle, and Sutton. A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. 72714.
