Timothy Luke Waldrip, 28 of Rogers, Ark., went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. Timothy was born on February 11, 1988 in Springdale. He is the son of Luke Waldrip and Jo Anne Hulet Waldrip. He was a nurse at Ashley Rehab and was promoted to Medical Records at Highland Rehab in Bella Vista. Tim was a Christian who attended New Hope Assembly of God in Rogers, and also attended church with his grandmother at Wedington Missionary Baptist Church. Tim had a heart for others and was sensitive to the needs of those in need, especially the elderly. His passions in life were cycling, lifting weights, hiking and fishing with his friends and family. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to spend time with his family. He would spend time teaching his nieces to play ball and fly a kite. His time with Dad was cherished as they cut wood and worked on the farm. Mom was cared for with his help in many different ways; whatever mom needed, Tim was there. He loved movie time with his sister, Amy. He is survived by his parents, Luke and Jo Anne of Rogers, one sister Amy Waldrip-Childress of Rogers; his grandmother Juanita Hulet of Lincoln, Ark.; and two nieces Ariah and Adalyn Childress, both of Rogers; along with many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Loyd Hulet of Lincoln, Ark., Luther Waldrip and Donna Waldrip of Gentry, Ark.. Visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale, on Wednesday May 18, 2016, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the New Hope Assembly of God in Rogers, Ark.. On Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 10 a.m. Pastor James Longmate will officiate the service burial being conducted at the Springtown Cemetery under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale.
