Gail Clinton Hines, 71, of Rogers passed away May 15, 2016. He was born to the late Charley Hines and Ruth (Kinney) Hines on February 20, 1945 in Rosston, Oklahoma. Following graduation from high school, he proudly served the US Army. While serving in Germany he met the love of his life, Katharina Selmer and they were married for more than 50 years. Upon their return from Europe he began his career with Emerson Electric as an engineer. Retirement allowed him the time to enjoy fishing, bowling, woodworking and classic country music. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Hines; his sister, Myrtle Stinson and his brother, E.J. Sickles. Survivors include his wife, Katharina of the home; his brother, Kenneth Hines and wife, Sandy, of New York a grandson, Austin Hines of Texas and several nieces and nephews. Visitation begins at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 19 followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Interment will be in Benton County Memorial Park.
