Rickie Carl Cook

Rickie Carl Cook was born Nov. 26, 1955 in Clarendon, Arkansas and was called to be with his Lord and Savior on May 17, 2016. Rickie was a long term resident of Stuttgart, Arkansas, and graduated Class of 1974 from Stuttgart High School. He was employed at Riceland Foods and U of A Rice Research Extension Center. Rickie was an active member of the Stuttgart Jaycee's Chapter and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. He was an avid sportsman and fisherman always enjoying life with his family and friends. Rickie always loved helping with the summer youth baseball program watching his sons grow up, and was always there to shoot fireworks at the annual 4th of July show for the city. Rickie is preceded in death by his mother, Fannie Mae George Cook. He is survived by loving wife of 31 years, Barbara Prislovsky Cook; father, Robert P. Cook (Sandra); brother, Robert Floyd Cook; sister, Beverly Cook Harding (Merrill); step-brothers, Tim Clark (Dee) and Travis Clark; sons, Aaron Meins (Jennifer), Jason Cook and Byron Cook; grandchildren, Evan Meins, Hannah Cook and Hayden Cook; and many nephews and cousins close to his heart. Rickie's Celebration of Life will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church on May 20th at 10 a.m. Visitation with the family preceding the service at 9 a.m. Graveside services will be held at Lone Tree Cemetery following the service. Donations in Rickie's name are asked to be made to the Timothy Fund at St. John's Lutheran School.
