Samuel Earl Roe

Samuel Earl Roe, age 81, of Hughes, Arkansas was born in Ward, Arkansas to Oscar and Susie Aline (Milam) Roe on April 13, 1935. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hughes and retired from the Wonder Bread Company. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn of Hughes; son, Michael R. Roe and wife Gwen of Weiner, Arkansas; daughter, Susan LaGuire of Morehead, Kentucky; step daughter, Ruthie Sexton of West Memphis, Arkansas and Aleitha Gray of Knoxville, Tennessee; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one brother, Gary Roe of Imperial, California. Family requests memorials be made in his name to a charity of choice. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Arkansas. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe, Arkansas with burial in Monk Cemetery.
